WhizScreen can be used as a smart picture frame. In this mode you can use any tablet or monitor as a picture frame.
The advantage of using WhizScreen as a picture frame is that you can “build” a picture frame from any tablet, new one or an old one you are not using any more. Some of today’s tablets like the Amazon Fire are great value for money as they provide a great screen for a cheap price. Using WhizScreen with a computer monitor allows you to “build” a large, high quality picture frame in your living room. To use WhizScreen with a monitor you will have to use the Amazon Fire TV stick which can run the WhizScreen app.
By turning a tablet or a monitor into a smart picture frame, you can display your pictures stored in your Dropbox account. We know many of you store your pictures in other places like Google Photo or OneDrive, however if this is the case, you can easily create a free Dropbox account and upload the pictures you want to display on your WhizScreen to this Dropbox account.
A great advantage of using Dropbox is that you can use it’s mobile app. We bet that most of your pictures are taken with your phone. By using the Dropbox app, you can easily upload pictures from your phone directly to your WhizScreen picture frame. Take a new picture and have it ready for you on your picture frame when you come back home.
How? use the Dropbox app to upload the pictures you like to show on your WhizScreen to the special WhizScreen folder, in Dropbox, created automatically when you connect your WhizScreen account to your Dropbox account. All pictures in this WhizScreen folder will be displayed on your WhizScreen when using the picture frame page. To connect your WhizScreen to your Dropbox choose the Home Automation option in your WhizScreen app menu. Than click the connect to Dropbox option from the Home Automation page.
Enjoy your smart picture frame.
